Introduction

While writing my introduction  I   realized  that it was much harder than what  I  thought  it was  going to be .  But it helped me learn how to better engage the reader  from the start. My writing  process  started with look ing  at my outline that  I   previously  made  to help g u ide me   through  writing  the  essay, after  that  I  wrote a rough draft without wor rying about absolute perfection , and then  I  revised it to improve the clarity and flow of my writing . One thing that  I  learned was how  important  it  is to provide background  information  that leads  smoothly  into my thesis. I also learned  that writing a strong hook takes  practice ,  and you  can't  just write  something   interesting;   it needs to  be  something that  connects   dire...

Outline

While writing this outline for my  essay,   I   realized  how important  organization  is  when it  comes  to starting a research paper. At  first,   I  started to writ e   mainly on   the historical  changes in aviation technology, but while working on this I realized that  that my paper needed to connect those changes to how American  society viewed military pilots over time.  This helped me improve my thesis and my background section so that they  focused more on  society's  understanding  rather than just technology. One  specific thing that  I  learned  was how useful topic sentences are for  guiding each body paragraph . Writing  the topic sentences  early  made it  a lot easier to  decide what information and sources  need  to be in each section.  Another thing that I learned was how   outlining ...

Research Proposal

While looking back on this assignment, I found that I learned how to find creditable and informational sources. I realized that it is important to use creditable sources so that you know that your information is truthful. Before I started this project, I did not know how to find sources that are completely reliable, so I started digging deeper and decided to start getting more information on the author of the book or article. To add to this, I learned how important it is to converse with your professors in order to present the highest quality of work possible. This is important, so you can put forward the information your professor wants your assignment to contain. Another important aspect in research assignments is organization, without it, there would be difficulty in managing a good flow to your writing. Lastly, I found that it is important to have a proper citation to prevent plagiarism.

Annotated Bibliography

First, I looked at different sources and read through them. After that, I made sure that they were credible and relevant sources that would be benefit the people that would read this annotated bibliography. Next, I summarized what sources were about, and then figured out what major concepts of the source again. Lastly, I found some of the faults within the article so I could critique. Some of the things that I learned doing this annotated bibliography were how to properly cite sources, how to accept that not every book, website, or movie is going to be one-hundred percent perfect, and how to summarize sources.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Noah, I am excited to start this course because I know that it will help me in my future academic career. While I was going through the course packet, I noticed that there will be no busy work posted throughout this semester and that everything that is posted will help us throughout this course in future assignments. The components of the research project seem achievable, and I find myself thankful for the in-depth instructions that will aid in my success. One of the things that I learned from the course packet is where and how to find credible sources on the deep web. Another addition to the things that I have learned from the course packet is "sandwiching." Sandwiching is used to develop a detailed and well-thought-out paragraph and helps add depth to your discussion or argument, ultimately creating an organized essay. Overall, I am eager to learn new ways to enhance the quality of my writing as the course continues.
