Introduction

While writing my introduction I realized that it was much harder than what I thought it was going to be. But it helped me learn how to better engage the reader from the start. My writing process started with looking at my outline that I previously made to help guide me through writing the essay, after that I wrote a rough draft without worrying about absolute perfection, and then I revised it to improve the clarity and flow of my writing. One thing that I learned was how important it is to provide background information that leads smoothly into my thesis. I also learned that writing a strong hook takes practice, and you can't just write something interesting; it needs to be something that connects directly to your topic. In conclusion, this assignment has helped me become more confident when it comes to organizing my ideas, and it has also helped me to see how much revision can improve my writing.
